I just hope people don’t write it off based off of the singles bc I really think two of the singles are my least favorite on the album. Hint one of them isn’t god damn. (I still like them, and think they work better in context)

Just really excited for people to hear this!! Is it November 2nd yet? That’s also the day before I get married.

 

The chorus in Self Repair is my favorite hook he’s written other than Me and My Lovers probably.

 

I love all the singles so does that mean this will be the best album of all time?

 

Rucker and I were saying, you’re gonna love this album a ton.

 

This is an album full of songs that sound like the singles, while not sounding like an album full of the same songs.

You will be belting these songs out for months to come.

I would be surprised if this isn’t your favorite of theirs. It certainly is mine.

 

This thing’s got big shoes to fill if it’s going to be my favorite AGO record.

 

All of their releases are very distinct from one another. This release is no different.

If you’re looking for Season 2.0, this isn’t it.

 

Not looking for anything just gonna be hard for this to top it..maybe for no other reason than the timing. It was a big record in my life at that point, maybe the biggest.

Having said that, I’ve liked everything I’ve heard from this more than anything they’ve released since The Season so I think that’s a good sign.

 

I sort of don't like getting records early haha, all I wanna do is talk about this record with y'all. I know little sympathy will be thrown my way. haha

The lyrics are starting to settle in and I'm connecting with it more and more.

I don't really love rose as an opener but everything else on here is pretty stellar

 

rose is an amazing song and i don’t think that it’s so different that it couldn’t fit on the record but i do think that as an opener it sets the album up to sound like something it is not.

also i ADORE you’ll survive as track 2

 

survive - value - god damn - self repair is an amazing run

 

the end of you’ll survive makes the song.

 

trip is probably the most classic ago song on here I think. wonderful closer
