Hah I mean 15 is too small a sample for these guys. Infirmary and Good Mourning are my favorites and I can barely represent them here cause the early songs on here are just far too beloved by me

 

100% agree they've become experts at cutting their best tracks. Hope that's not the case on new one.

Relistened to Good Mourning, Goddammit and Crimson last night because I'm so dang excited for this record.

 

I'm gonna do a run through all 8 album's tonight not including remains or the st comp.

 

No. Doesn't look like there are any bonus songs from the album.

very nice. I included Remains and Damnesia in mine cause I have a lot of hours of the work day to get through haha. I'm up to This Addiction right now. after I'm finished i'll still have time so i'll probably do Heavens, Sekrets, and Dan's two albums.

 

while it's not a total bummer cause it's at least an album more than 10 songs haha, I always wish their were more haha.

Based on the reviews so far, it sounds like a pretty evenly split album and lots of songs with shared vocals. I’m very excited about that.

every song so far has been a collab effort which is dope (Blackbird was a Dan instrumental with Matt writing lyrics, and of course the split vocals on the other two singles). I wonder if this will be their most even vocally since Good Mourning

I wonder if being in blink influenced Matt and Dan having more back and forth on songs. Outside of Mercy Me, I can't really think of any songs that there is any real back and forth outside of backing vocals/harmonies.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Cameron Webb had a lot of influence on that. I know he had suggested that Matt sing that verse on Cursed.

 

Yup. They also said they just completely scrapped anything they didn't like.

This is a killer review.

 

Kind of strange that they never really did it before. The difference in Matt's and Dan's voices are be perfect for it. Wonder what the reasoning was, if any, for not doing it sooner.

 

I honestly couldn't tell you but it really works beautifully on Mercy Me and Old School Reasons.

 

Those are great, also the back and forth on the chorus of Back to Hell. Oh, and Matt’s bridge on Love Love, Kiss Kiss.
