Is the show worth going to without Derek? I'm old and driving to Baltimore and back is a real chore, especially on a work night.

 

From what I understand the band sounds fantastic, people said you can tell the difference but it wasn't a deal breaker. Just check videos out on YouTube

 

I hope they still have that long sleeve shirt on Saturday!

Yeah they were out of the reaper shirt when I saw them I was pretty bummed

 

Completely worth it. I was honestly too sweaty to even notice the difference.

 

I wonder if they'll sell the album early?

 

The issue as well is you have people buying more than a few things.

omg the title track is SO good how'd I miss it

 

Also, so far the new material reminds me of Agony & Irony, which is definitely a top 3 Trio album for me.

Show was absolutely incredible. Trio sounded so, so good, the setlist was incredible, I had a great spot (like 2 rows back on Matt's side), and even Together Pangea blew me away after never having heard of them before. Just a fantastic show all around


This also solidified the fact that Sadie is my favorite song by them

 

Did Matt and Dan look to be having fun again together ?

 

I’d say so, there was a lot of banter between songs and they kept walking over to each other’s sides when the other one was singing lead

 

Does anyone have any insight as to what the crowds for Trio have been like on this tour? I'm taking my girlfriend to this show and she's tiny, and she HATES pushing/rough crowds. As a taller guy who loves a rowdy show, this has never really been something I've taken into account. Would we be safe on the floor tomorrow night or is it better to stand on the makeshift balconies surrounding the main floor?

 

Everyone at my show was like 25-40. So just a bunch of full-sized adults. I felt like the youngest person there and I’m 23 haha.

 

There was a LOT of pushing at the show last night, and it was mostly large men in their late 30s at least. It was a pretty rough crowd in general, though I was close to the front to be fair

 

Don't stand in the middle. If you want to be on the floor or even on the barrier, stand more off to the sides. Anything from in front of Matt to in front of Dan is the ~danger zone.~

 

Any b-sides with this album? Really looking forward to Cursed. I’ve also enjoyed the write ups and interviews then and has done so far for this album. Sounds like they had a lot of fun making the record
