Ogikubo was great and Mike Parks commentary throughout was awesome.

Together Pangea was also very good and I am definitely a fan of them now

Alk3 was awesome as expected. Definitely some sound issues at some points and the absence of Derek was noticeable but Matt and Dan seemed to be having a great time and the setlist was definitely awesome. Spent way too much money lol

Very excited to see them at Riot Fest next month

 

Yeah I really didn't like the fill-in drummer. It made a noticeable impact on the sound to me. Still a good show, but it would've been much better with Derek.

 

I really hope Derek is with them at Riot Fest

 

What chanses are there that they'll do an overseas tour next year? Like most bands they're unlikely to come to Norway, but I hope they will at least come to Sweden. My girlfriend just started liking this band and I'd love to take her to see them.

 

It’s probable. Depends on what blink-182 does too, I know they’re gearing for a new album next year as well (goddamn gotta admire Matts work ethic)

I don’t either I barely stand a 40-45 hour work week! Dude has earned my respect for sure

 

Lol, I do have to add something about the Royal Oak show I was at. It was probably a mixture of the guitar tones, my shitty hearing, and being that close, but for most of the set, I had zero idea what song was playing until the vocals started.

 

They’ve gained about 30,000 Spotify listeners in a little over a week. So awesome.

I really want to go to that tour, but they're one the most hot and cold bands I've ever seen live. I feel like you have a 50/50 shot at getting a good show from them, and I'd be driving like 90min-2 hours to see them on a work night.

 

Really want to hit up the tour in NJ but can't make it happen when I'm seeing Gaslight on the following three nights

 

Gaslight on Tuesday,Alkaline on Thursday....Seeing two bands,who wrote the most important music for me and got me through some shit, in one week....those will be very emotional days....especially for my wallet because I'll buy every single thing,even fucking merch guy lol

between this, ariana/nikki, Foxing, August was like a surprisingly stacked month with good releases every week

 

The new Foxing record is my AOTY so far I think.

 

WOW the title track is fucking good, I am stoked as hell for this album
