I still from time to time think about how much I hated Prometheus. I really should get over it, it’s getting pathetic.

 

This is probably mine as well? With AvP after Prometheus and Requiem at the bottom. It's a total tossup with those first two though, I'm tempted to say I might have Aliens at the top.

 

I will say, Requiem makes Resurrection look like the original lol

 

Nothing can ever top the original obviously because it was the genesis of the series and it was masterfully made by the master Scott in his prime.

BUT I’m fully in on the hype and the possibility that Romulus just might end up being the most enjoyable of the series at this point in time. The trailer pretty much confirms it’s possible. Here’s to hoping.

 

Rewatched Aliens last night.

I know James Cameron is a stone cold weirdo but the guy has brilliance in every bit of his body.

 

Cameron knows how to make a sequel, that's for damn sure (even though i had lost all energy by the time i finished watching TWOW)

 

The way of water is a masterpiece

 

Yeah The Way of Water is incredible, I like it just as much as Aliens or T2

 

i absolutely loved the visuals, don't get me wrong. it was just incredibly long, lmao. the first one was one of my favorite movies when it first came out, but some of it hasn't aged as well as i thought it would. TWOW was a slight improvement in that regard.

 

The middle hour of way of water is amazing. Legit could have watched 3 hours of just that.

 

i am intrigued to see what he does with 3, especially given the rumor that his first cut is apparently 9 hours (and that he wants VFX completed for the whole thing before making cuts)? that could be completely false, but that's kind of a badass way to approach it that only he can do.

 

plus Michelle Yeoh is there too so that's obviously gonna be badass

 

Give me the 9 hour cut
