Really wish my music taste was better when these dudes were touring. I saw them and dug them back in the day but revisiting their discography now it’s so clear they were always so fucking amazing.


I think Old Crows, Young Cardinals is my favorite record from them.

 

OCYC is definitely their strongest work to date. I love all their records but that one is just so goddamn strong from start to finish.

 

Watch Out! will forever be my favourite

Old Crows is a crazy good Summer record. Do it.

And it's been a year and a half since Season of the Flood. I would have thought by now we would have had more.

 

Midnight Regulations/Emerald Street might be my favorite 1-2 punch in the discog

I also love that album's bsides so much. I love how Wade leads the chorus on the first one, and the urgency of the second.

Still hoping there's more music or even an album on the horizon. I don't think they've said anything about any future plans since that one quarantine livestream Wade did more than a year ago?

 

Old Crows is really great but is not at the level of the first 3 imo

None are less than great though

 

i prefer the more traditional hardcore sound they moved onto towards the end before the breakup. george sounds his best. crisis is way too polished imo.

 

I was not prepared for OC when it came out, it was ToO dIfFeReNt, but I friggin love it now.

 

Crisis being at the top for me is purely nostalgic
