I almost feel like they’re not gonna tease for two weeks now that the secret’s out. I mean that teaser clip already reveals the single title/artwork... I feel like if it really were two weeks away they wouldn’t have confirmed that yet, and the leak made them decide to move it up. Probably just wishful thinking because I don’t want to wait two weeks

 

Oops now I’m listening to Watch Out!

 

I thought the decision to wipe their social media today seemed odd if they were still sticking with the February 15th date on the initial leak.

 

Yep. And then already the teaser with the artwork/title. I think they moved it up.

 

I'm perfectly fine with it being moved up obviously

 

Can we move it up into the past so I can enjoy it now?

 

I'm honestly just so excited that I get to experience another AOF rollout that the wait is welcomed.

 

Listening to OCYC right now and man... Midnight Regulations and Emerald Street back to back is just insane. 2 of the best choruses they ever wrote

 

Being a diehard for so many years, I didn’t warm up to OCYC very fast at all. I now love it equally along with the rest of their discography, and this is beyond exciting. Curious to see if they’re picking up where they left off, or something entirely different.

 

That sound clip is basically the sound that had been going off in my head since i heard new music was coming

 

OCYC has some of their best choruses ever. As a whole, it tends to get a bit formulaic outside of the opening, the closer, and The Northern though. I always thought it sounded like Rise Against if they had decided to go heavier after The Sufferer & The Witness.

 

I actually love that album pretty much on par with their others, but I can see this. Tbh when I first got into AOF in high school and hadn’t listened to much post-hardcore at all, my first comparison point was “heavier Rise Against” lol. I’ve always thought Dallas’ voice has some similarities to Tim’s (but I prefer Dallas by a lot personally).

 

If Tim was a good singer he would sound like Dallas

 

I love how each one of their albums has both been vastly different from from previous and still a natural progression of their sound.

 

maybe the screamer guy learned to sing so he can do more than just shout a few lines while dallas does most of the vocals

 

I think what makes them unique is that they have 3 vocalists with very distinct voices so I couldn't disagree more haha
