Love the Boston Manor album, I’m reluctantly almost enjoying the Faim EP right now and I’m sure The Night Game will at the very least be catchy so that just leaves Happy. I’ll have to check it out.

  3. I'm having one of those "I hate everything" sort of days. Absolutely nothing sounds good to me. I might need to try some of these again on another day.

Listening through the Happy. Album now and it reminds me a little bit of early 2000s pop punk. Track 5 “Drowners” is my favorite thus far, “Home from touring, I’m so boring, I get stoned, watch Rick & Morty”.

    Boston Manor
    Clutch
    The Night Game
    Pig Destroyer
    Pohgoh
    Ruston Kelly
St. Paul & The Broken Bones
    Waxahatchee

Ruston Kelly is really good. Reminds me of Noah Gundersen and Rocky Votolato. A few moments stand out where the lyrics are a little laughable, but overall really enjoying the sound of this album.

Boston Manor was fine. An enjoyable listen, but I don't see it making my top albums of the year. "Halo" is an earworm though.

New Pig Destroyer is great too, really shows off the range within their sound.

The new Clutch record is some good hard rock. I've never been a die hard of them or anything but they're for sure a fun listen.

Also gonna try to check out:
    Boston Manor
Stoned Jesus (Never heard them before but jammed the first track and I'm digging it so far, some cool stoner metal/desert rock type stuff)
    Spiritualized
    Future Thieves
    Pohgoh
    The Night Game

Not enjoying the new Boston Manor on first listen. Way different feel from Be Nothing.

Some cool songs on the Night Game album.

    Irregular Prestigious

    Stuff I hadn't seen mentioned...
    Wilmette (TSSF-ish pop-punk)
    Counterparts (heavy hardcore)
Mestis (8-string jazzy-prog-rock from Animals As Leaders 2nd guitarist)
    Skyharbor (Deftones-djent-rock)
The Primals (Grungy alt-rock a la Nirvana featuring the singer from Darkest Hour and former bassist from Dead To Fall)
SET SIGHTS (I dunno yet... just saw Tragic Hero put it out so I expect post-hardcore)
