I'm in love with the ordinary

Not much for me this week but:

The Fight - There's No Future Where We're Going

Not new but I only just found out about it (came out end of August). I guess these guys got back together. They're from my small home town (and high school) in England. Some info for anyone that might care. They're a female fronted band. Chad from NFG signed them back in like 2003/4 and they did the Warped tour and released just one album and an EP, toured with Yellowcard, Rancid, NFG, Sugar Cult, Brand New, The Starting Line. Didn't put anything out for like 20 years but I guess they decided it was time to release something. Digging it a lot to be honest.

    Link to their other music:

    Spotify: Spotify
Apple Music: The Fight on Apple Music

Also, from this list, I'll be listening to:

Green Day – American Idiot (20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition)
Motörhead – We Take No Prisoners (The Singles 1995 – 2006)

Will probably check out things if enough people recommend them too.

Been waiting for that Better Lovers for a minute now. I'll also always check out new 311 because I'm still that kid in the mid-90s sitting in his old room taking in the magic of what Chad Sexton can do on the drums and trying (badly) to emulate it.

The new Kelsea Ballerini album is terrific. She's totally in her "2010s Taylor Swift" era.

Also, the new Entheos EP is 10/10. Probably my release of the year. Chaney's vocals have only improved over the years, and the songwriting has matured as well. All killer, no filler.
