Was out of the loop with the ADTR shit. The album is their worst work and now I have even less of a reason to give it any of my time. Tigers Jaw is phenomenal though.

If you like this Tigers Jaw album, I'd recommend their self titled & Charmer if you'd like to hear more. But you can't go wrong with any of it, they're great. And rule live if we ever get the chance for live music again.
As far as other bands...Rainer Maria/The Anniversary maybe? A little bit later in the 2000s, but The Narrative/The Morning Of also had that blend of male & female vocals. I recently returned to The Forecast & it holds up very well

 

Listening to the new St. Vincent single on repeat. So good. Love everything she does. Amazing musician. Bowie/Talking Heads vibes. Get into it!

 

This, this, so much THIS... it’s perhaps their best release in years, Pete really went to bat on this. Loving it.

Tigers Jaw is phenomenal. I know it's only March, but it is already an AOTY contender for me.
