that’s so incredible, thank you for sharing!! So humbling. The new album takes a small stylistic shift, but I really think it holds up to Unfall in quality. Also, if you wanna snag that free acoustic album, it includes acoustic versions of “Matter,” “Unfallinlovewithable,” and a sequel that I wrote to “Worth the Wait” :)))

Some Stranger - Meet In Secret, Speak In Code

This project features Tym from Daytrader on vocals. The album was recorded back in 2014 but was never released until this week. I had all but given up hope of ever hearing it and then got a random email from bandcamp saying it was out!

"“hello. we here at some stranger would like to let our debut LP 'meet in secret, speak in code', out into the world. we recorded this in 2014, after writing for over a year, but due to divergent opportunities it was never properly released. we are extremely proud of the record and hope it provides some joy in strange times."

 

I've had this on repeat all week, it's SO good. It's great to hear Tym's voice again. Had to cop the vinyl too, $15 for a pink variant and that gorgeous Daniel Danger art? No hesitation.

 

Daytrader was awesome! Adding that to my queue...

It is Daniel's artwork, and also he plays guitar in the band as well! He played in The Saddest Landscape too, it's really rad.

 

Never heard of Red City Radio, but it basically sounds like if Bayside was fronted by Randy Newman....and I'm here for it!

 

You, Me, and Everyone We Know released a recording of their final show in 2017 for Bandcamp Friday. All proceeds benefit Trevor from Sundressed's medical bills.
