Fuck me, do I love pre-new AFI album hype.

 

Fuuuuck I'm so hyped

 

I cannot believe it's already been three years since Burials. Stoked to see what's coming

 

December release, maybe with Halloween single?

I wonder if they are self releasing?

 

Seems a bit optimistic. I'd say February-March. They tend to drag out these teaser phases... those Burials videos took what? Like four months or something? And I feel like Crash Love stuff started in February for a September release. The end results are always worth it, but the wait is always soooo lonnnnggggggg

 

I know, right?! I swear, that time flies by so quickly. It honestly feels like yesterday since Crash Love was released.

 

I always love the build up to new AFI for like... a month... and then I get REALLY anxious and it all seems to go so slow

 

Also, the video doesn't seem to be working anymore :(

 

I feel like the wait for DU to CL and CL to Burials were really long, but time has flown and it doesn't seem like Burials is that old.....but it is.

 

Still kinda paranoid those teardrop cards will end up being good for something later on and I won't get one, but fuck it I'm so excited for new music

 

Well there's 3 teardrops on each right? Everyone who got one, rip two off and share the love with everyone here.

 

I just peeled off the mailing label just to see if there was anything under it. Nothing.

What makes you think they're self-releasing? Just curious

 

Oh, I don't think they are, just a hope since they could theoretically launch the album at a moment's notice that way.

 

Yeah but would they? They love to keep their fans in suspense...

Yeah, Burials really does feel newer than it actually is. Really pumped for new AFI material, though.
