It's just weird to me how people just ignore me and talk about how great certain songs are from Nine (including the creator of this site) when I bring it up

  2. I’ve talked about it thousands of times! Sorry for not wanting to do it again at 3pm on Monday. Thanks for calling me out though!

Sorry if I was being a dick, fair enough. It just bothers me when people continue to talk about their favorite song from Nine when I bring it up and ignore me. I'm just curious where that discussion went. Was it a false alarm? Is he not friends with a Nazi anymore?

I feel like a jerk now. Sorry for calling you out, that was rude of me @Jason Tate

  5. You're not a jerk, I just don't think there should be an expectation that I, specifically since I was directly called out, need to continually have the same conversations I've already had hundreds of times. My thoughts on matters of accountability, and specifically on multiple members of Blink-182, are well tread ground. I have no idea what Matt's current friendships are, last I saw, he has multiple ones I'd consider problematic, I don't know his current thoughts on police either, last I saw that was super gross too. Your question was why are some bands not mentioned ever but Matt Skiba is. I can't respond to that because I don't know the answer (I have been pretty open in saying I think bands should be talked about because I believe there are ways to have good healthy conversations about problematic art makers and one's relationship to it). But, I've seen much discussion about the Skiba thing, I think @David87 and @Nathan both posted stuff I agreed with at one point years back now. There's been so many threads with it, I don't have time today to go find the exact posts again.

Well this is the first time I'm hearing of any of this, but I also have been inactive on this site for large stretches.

I think I’ve posted enough about it too, but just because he posts good shit doesn’t mean he doesn’t pal around with nazis and use problematic imagery to seem edgy.

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

Yeah, he's not a Nazi by any stretch of the imagination ans supports some good causes from time to time, but like everyone said, he probably should avoid posting problematic shit publicly, but this really seems like a case of not modeling yourself after the things your heroes are into or did. Otherwise, there'd be a lot of problematic issues with a lot of the metal and hardcore I listen to.

Just ask him yourself on Instagram see what he tells you easy as that instead of complaining in a forum where you get ignored about it anytime you bring it up

Yeah I don’t get the entitlement either. If you don’t want to be in the thick of it, you stand further back. That’s literally rock shows since the dawn of time.

To suggest a band should change their entire set and presence for a random set of people who are there for another band, who are standing near the front before the band they’re a fan of had started playing. I mean, what lol.

It’s literally like people dancing at shows when it’s a pop or an indie show. I don’t really do that at those type of shows so I avoid standing too close if I’m being a boring fuck and just watching. I don’t expect people to not enjoy themselves and express themselves for my benefit. And who the fuck things they should lol.

    The back story:
Usher threw the party for Chris. Chris was screaming at teyana for ignoring him, usher told him to calm down, he got mad at him for that, he left and usher followed which then they jumped usher.

Moral of the story, everyone should stop being friends with Chris brown
