I don't really know who Spiritbox are, and I barely understand twitter, but I just went to their page out of curiousity to see if they are engaging with any fans calling them out, and they haven't even posted about the tour at all

 

Old guitarist from As It Is calling it out too. Wish some bigger names would as well tho.

 

they had like one post about it on their IG, which has since been deleted. idk if that means they'll reconsider.

 

A band dropping off that tour could be the first domino to Ronnie Radke losing at least *some* of his platform.

 

On Instagram they had but they conveniently put the tour poster on the second or third slides of the post promoting it. All the top comments were calling them out and they hadn't replied to any of them. Looks like it's just been deleted because it was still up yesterday.

It looks like Spiritbox deleted everything on social media about the Falling in Reverse tour and people are speculating they dropped off. Sooo either they didn’t know about Ronnie, saw the backlash, and did the right thing… but I’ll be real here, there’s no way they didn’t know and they’re canceling for damage control. Too late though!

 

It's honestly almost worse if they didn't know. Signing on for a tour without a really really really really easy Google search? Honestly would take 10 seconds. Ignorance here is just stupidity

Yeah if they knew about DGD to call them out on stage, they know who Radke is

The sad thing is it would be so easy for Ronnie to simply.....not talk and just ride through on ignorance for a successful tour and he can't even manage that lol

 

Sometimes I really do understand capital punishment. People suffer because of Ronnie Radke, and there’s no indication whatsoever of learning or desire to change. Everyone is wrong but him, it’s a critical sign of a human being who refuses to mature, and at a certain point I do believe it’s ethical on a larger scale to remove those people from society on a more permanent basis

Well, this quite the take.

 

I'm just tired of the attitude in these forums of "well, only we on these forums know because xyz. The average person would never know". Google searches are easy. I've known Ronnie was a piece of shit since before joining this site over a decade ago

 

If Andy of Monuments, a tiny band in comparison to juggernauts like Underoath, INK and Spiritbox know who RR is, then those other acts most certainly know and are just playing dumb. If anything, their management should clarify: “you are 100% cool with this knowing X, Y and Z?”

 

I'm going to also add to this that if their management is not informing them of these things, then their management is failing them and should be replaced.

That's not to take any burden off them, but I would think a manager's biggest job is to help their client avoid PR disasters just like this.

I do think some things posted here are a bit more niche and I don't blame some ppl for not knowing, and maybe it's my bias, but I do feel like the Ronnie thing is not niche espesh to those in similar genres who would tour with him. Espesh since it's still such a big part of his brand and he spends a lot of time on social media defending himself and getting in lil online arguments about it. It's not like some old thing nobody ever brings up anymore.

 

I’ve known about him ever since the first Escape the Fate record. I don’t listen to any of that stuff anymore and haven’t for a while but it’s just solidifying that his reputation has preceded him for quite some time.
