Ever since he left the band, TBS has seemed pretty adamant that he wouldn't be welcome (at least in what ive seen, I'm not the biggest TBS fan) maybe this played a part in it since she says there are witnesses, police reports etc.

Absolutely sucks she experienced it. Glad she's speaking up.

 

yeah TBS made it clear he was never going to be in the band again while he posted weird and frankly pathetic posts insinuating he still wanted a chance with them. makes sense if this allegation is true.

 

What ever happened with him and the band anyway?

 

I thought I remembered the split being amicable, but maybe I'm misremembering (or, obviously, there's more to it than was public at the time).

 

I thought he took time away for addiction issues?

 

Yeah I think he originally was taking some time away, but then got the straight boot.

 

I think the belief was that Eddie left (or was kicked out?) TBS because he was struggling badly with addiction. It was a really long time before either party said anything publicly but there were at least a few tours over the course of a few years that Eddie was not a part of and there was no announcement on either side. A few years later, I think he said publicly that he was clean but the band didn't want him back or something to that effect. To my knowledge (and I'm a pretty big TBS fan) TBS has really not talked about his departure at all. Maybe made one statement about it.

 

The story they were telling at some point when he was missing shows was he was back home tending to a sick child – not sure if that was real or if they were covering for him.

 

The victim here says in the comments that this abuse took place after he was kicked out. It tracks with the same timeline of TBS remaining fairly quiet about him, but him publicly saying that he was clean and wanted back in.

sounds like maybe they knew he wasn’t being truthful.

 

He posted not too long ago on facebook that an ex of his was “dragging his name through the mud on reddit” and to not believe anything they say. thought it was odd and didnt really look too much into it, then that post was soon deleted. this makes sense now.

 

Unfortunately the Eddie stuff would make the way both sides handled his departure make a lot more sense.

I love how they think we don’t remember him essentially admitting to it and was getting help for his sexual misconduct but now it’s “he only had a alcohol problem, he didn’t do anything wrong”

It's like they're trying to win some kind of bizarre contest in hell for the absolute worst way to respond to this situation.

 

What’s interesting too about Eddie is that Fred Mascherino and him talked about working and touring together around 2018/2019 and as far as I know, nothing ever came of it. They maybe played a few shows but nothing beyond that. Maybe Fred sensed something wasn’t right.

Not to speculate but I used to always think about how that never went any further.

 

Eddie was having a huge problem with alcohol but so was Adam, it’s Eddie’s band. Did any sort of charges ever come up for abuse, I know he was in a bad relationship in Ohio
