It’s maddening that it took several different assaults to get to this point.

Hold on, people want them to drop off a tour because some piece of shit sexually assaulted someone at one of the shows?

    (Turning off comments is wack)

Edit: oh, ADTR tour. I’m dumb. Disregard.

Almost like Adam knows how to identify vulnerable women before he starts creeping on them. Just a guess

They performed at the Firefly Festival to a pretty large crowd and Avril Lavigne came out on stage with them. Seems like most of their fans now have moved on or never cared to begin with.

It is very telling they haven't touched their Twitter account since March, yet their Facebook and Instagram are far more active.

All the respect I once had for Alex went a long time ago.

Avril has worked with problematic artists before I'm pretty sure, but also I don't necessarily expect her to be online enough to be aware of the allegations.

Maybe this is just my ignorance of the music industry, but this idea that "x isn't online enough to know about the allegations" gets floated a lot in this thread, and I think I just don't buy it? The thought that an artist actively working in the industry is somehow less informed than me, a casual forum member, doesn't ring true to me. Perhaps I'm being naive, but if Avril, for example, is in the loop enough to work with ATL, then she's in the loop enough to know a very public piece of information about that band. It doesn't take 8 hours on twitter a day for this kind of news to travel when you have first hand connections.

I feel like it's happened a few times with Hayley Williams, and as much as I love her, I'm not totally buying that she's never heard a problematic thing about Jared Leto, for instance heh.
