Don't think it needs to be in this thread or the Adele thread. If you wanna discuss the ways social or traditional media react to women's bodies, the feminism thread is probably most appropriate. Feels kinda weird to center the discussion on Adele.

I'm watching Chance the Rapper do a livestream right now and Stix (Greg Landfair Jr.) is drumming for him (who has drummed for him forever). Stix was accused of rape a few years ago and it's disappointing that, even though he denied it, he's still drumming for Chance and has a career. It doesn't seem like much came of the accusation which is also disappointing. Also, Stix's father was part of R. Kelly's inner circle and still supported him after he was acquitted, even though it's been reported that his daughter was one of R. Kelly's victims.

I saw this comment thread in a music group I am a member of on Facebook. Has anyone else heard about sexual assault allegations against Bon Iver or stories of him being a molester? This is the first I am hearing of it and would like to know if there's more out there and I am out of the loop or not.

living in mpls for a decade i definitely knew some people who kept a distance from him for whatever reason. couldn’t tell you specifics but definitely heard rumblings of weirdness in my peripherals over the years.

the idea that hes responsible for whole families leaving eau claire seems a little out there to me though, same with his festival taking down the city, only ever heard good things about his impact on the city’s reputation but who knows.
