it's private, if it's hardcore people i'm curious if this one dude that was in a very prominent hardcore band was listed

 

Some very bad stuff on their story re: Terror

 

They said they are getting so many adds. Who you thinking?

 

I posted this in another thread but I hope labels start speaking out about this kind of shit.

Pure Noise has Stone and Terror on their label, they have swept stuff under the rug before.

Same as RFC. As far as I know they've made no statement on Pinegrove

 

So are all these people in the account in bands or these a mix of band dudes and people in the scene?

 

There's not really a lot to say about Pinegrove cause no one actually knows what has happened and isn't it a case that his victims don't want it spoke about publically?

 

Latter. They've also been detailing info about bookers and photographers.

 

They shouldn’t be continuing to sell his stuff tho and honestly the label should know better

Also RFC 1000% knows what actually happened and could do things about it internally and is just, not

 

cut off all income to the rest of the band because evan? i dont agree with that at all. these are humans that need to eat. if it were a more extreme case yeah sure but with what we know of pinegrove i dont fault RFC

 

I don't know how to feel about the Pinegrove thing, we just have so little information, it could be way more serious than I'm anticipating.

 

not to take a specific side in this scenario because i actually don't know what i think RFC should do but i assume evan gets the vast majority of royalties for pinegrove stuff since it's almost entirely his project, sort of like how sam ray is pretty much the sole person who gets money from RFC

it's a shifting lineup, i of course don't know what the contract entails but depending on who is actually considered the "band" royalties are different.

 

here's my whole thing with RFC
a. how much pinegrove merch is really flying off the shelves right now?
b. i would hope IF evan is getting the majority of the money, if theres any money coming in at all (doubtful), hes donating it, but we cant be sure of that
c. if other members of the band are getting money, which i would hope they are, i dont see a reason to stop selling their stuff right now, and again i have a hunch pinegrove merch isnt in high demand right now

Pinegrove is Evan + whoever is available, so I would presume he’s getting the majority of the money from Pinegrove stuff

Also, as I said, RFC knows and has known the extent of this and who it effects and because of that and of what I know of this situation I find it gross they’re pretending nothing is happening

Likely because the other people who play in the band used Pinegrove to promote their solo stuff (Jodi, Half Waif)

 

I always thought Pinegrove was Evan and Zach together. I of course could be wrong but that's the impression I was under.

 

I believe Zack has always been in the band, but unsure how much writing he does
