Also I hope for his sake, and that of his daughters, that he really has grown and learnt from this and no longer holds such abhorrent views.

 

Shocked that a band with a name about killing women would be who we knew they were.

 

I tried to call this out when they were an active band atmd basically no one cared. I’m glad society and this scene has changed to where now more people do. That’s a good thing at least!

yeah, it's scotty not just reacting to this but agreeing with op that ticked me off. I mean, I'm open to being disappointed by everyone, this is a thankless worthless world, but I feel like he's not THAT dude — there's got to be something legit in there, right? But guess the Industry People won't let us mere mortals know about this stuff

 

i'm not finding any sources or court docs, it sounds like a lot of hearsay? i'm not super inclined to take that as fact until i can see some evidence that they actually went to court or that she's recanted or anything

I mean I hope that somehow he didn’t do it but I’m not exactly holding my breath. I hope this isn’t just bullshit being spread to make supporting SN acceptable again.

 

There's a lot of weird things here because this all started with Nicole from TWIABP right? like that;s what prompted that and they definitely knew each other. I don't know if like, the person who told nicole made it up and it snowballed or what not, because nicole never said to be the actual victim. And then I know another one of his ex's ended up coming forward about some toxic behavior, and how Adam the guitarist for sorority noise had texted her asking to delete it and (she was the one who had tweeted "you forgot one" at a statement) she posted screenshots of that. Not to mention a lot of people felt there was something weird going on with how Cam seemed to be ending or putting all his bands on hiatus right before this. This whole thing is just...very bizarre.

 

naaahh like maybe it's true but if it's a band person on twitter, whose friend spoke to cam.... that's too many degrees for me to take as fact let alone if the source is cam himself. if someone can search those court docs - i dont have an acct and need to go to bed - that would be tight
