i won't lie, some of his dialogue in the first one was pretty fun. but he's proven himself to not be a good person, and in light of the fact that they reduced his screentime in the second one during reshoots after the allegations broke, it's almost certain he wasn't invited back. this narrative of not wanting to do it to avoid being called a sellout is nothing more than a ploy to feed his persecution complex so certain folks can decry "cancel culture" and "the woke mind virus". he's just an asshole.

I always wondered why Lori Beth Denberg never had too big of a career post-Nickelodeon, and I wonder if what she experienced working as a young actress on Nickelodeon and having to deal with Dan (and others!) caused her to step back from the industry. I know there are probably other reasons as to why her career fizzled out, such as fatphobia, but she, like Amanda Bynes, was so wildly funny back then I thought for sure she would go on to have a great career in comedy.
