Hm okay. I don't have a good grasp on the conflict so I thought there was something more to it than that

 

It's such a historied and complex situation where thousands of innocents have and will continue to die.

Choking it up to blanket statements such as "Islam is terrorism" is really cruel, reductive and harmful to the situation and to the people who are suffering.

 

It's also irritating that all these people have ignored atrocities that Israel has committed. Hamas isn't the only ones that have committed atrocities. It's so infuriating that all these people have ignored every horrible thing Israel has done just to jump to their defense now like the innocent Palestinian people who are going to be killed and have been don't matter.

 

The mainstream media is overwhelmingly on Israel's side. This is where a lot of people are getting their information from. They are trying to destroy the handful of politicians who even acknowledged that Palestinians are human beings. The vast majority of people have no idea about how Palestinians are treated or how Israel has committed so much more violence.

 

This has made me so fucking sad over the last couple of months.

 

The rest of them have handled it really well, some fans have not.
