I saw Billy Joel’s 50th show in his MSG run. He had brought out some amazing guests at random times throughout the years so I had high expectations for that special occasion. Halfway through the set he told us someone very special was coming out for a song, and the excitement was overwhelming.

It was Jim Breuer. I’ve never felt so much joy slip away in an instant.
