Ehh, not to derail this thread but LeVar Burton just wasn’t that good of a host if you actually watched his episodes, definitely in the bottom tier of hosts.

Ken Jennings would have been good but his questionable tweets didn’t help his situation, unfortunately. I’m very glad Richards is gone though.

LeVar was perfectly fine in the episode I saw. He filmed his entire run in a day.

 

Yeah I don’t really think it’s fair to judge LeVar on his shows considering he didn’t have enough time to really figure out his style in a single day. He has a great personality that would be good for the show and, if given that time, could be a great host.

 

Did they actually film any episodes yet with him as host? It sounds like they've been filming considering it says they are cancelling production today. They can't possibly air those episodes...so what happens to the contestants/winners?

 

Didn't an interview with LeVar come out where he and his wife both agreed he wasn't great?
