@GettingSodas s No need to apologize. I'm sorry that you're feeling this way. I know it's super cliche'...but it WILL get better. 20 is such a weird fucking year. You're in this period of transition and society says you should be at a certain place by a certain age. It's all bullshit! Please feel free to hit up the inbox whenever needed.

 

Keep your head up. You can always vent here and if you need to talk to someone in private, you can send me a PM anytime you need to. Things always seem at their worst before they get better. It's cliche as fuck and I hate it for that, but it's true. You're young. I felt like my life was a disaster until a couple years ago. Now, although I am stressed out at times and my anxiety kicks my ass here and there, I've never been happier. You can get to that place too. Believe in yourself, dude. I barely know you, but you seem like a smart guy and if you keep working at it, you won't feel this way forever. I promise you.

Hey brother, never hesitate to bring this type of stuff out. I was a an introvert forever and it is so damaging to hold things in and let them ruminate in your head. Talking to people and getting it out into the universe is the first step to action. My suggestion is to really implement some simple changes to your life. Whether its a healthy life style change, or looking into the foot steps you need to take to go back to school, or seek another job. Just take tiny footsteps towards something positive, anything. I promise you probably more than half the people in this thread have felt like this before, including me. The best feeling is getting out of that feeling and realizing it was all bullshit your mind was telling you and not the truth.

 

@GettingSodas just know you're always welcome here to talk and vent these kind of things. It's not easy dealing with that kind of stuff, but just know you're not alone in it. I struggle daily thinking that I'm not going to go anywhere in life, and I'm 24. We're all just kind of.. floating along and hoping things end up working out, which I do think they will. You ever need to vent or talk, message me on here, I'll do whatever I can to help.
