I'm pretty sure the scales at my gym are never calibrated. But I try to use the same one for consistency even if it's wrong consistently.

I find that flushing my system with an equal mixture of taco bell and grain alcohol always clears up any problems I have. It's most effective when they're blended together and consumed as a shake.
