Sums up my life fairly well. I like to drink coffee before I nap. I like to be consistently nonsensical.

 

My friend says she can get me a job working at a box office for this venue. Not really into any of the music, but she told me to come in tomorrow at 11 and said she can get me the job "instantly"

 

I'm sitting awkwardly in this doctor's office because I'm here solely to force my Dad into coming (the stubborn man has double pneumonia and I had to GUILT him into coming) but his wife trumps in the office so I don't even get to be in there for the tough conversation.

a company that i've previously turned down a job from changed their name and i agreed to an interview over the phone when they called again because i didn't know they changed their name. do i:

a) politely decline the interview when they send me a confirmation email
b) be petty and just not show up

 

You should prolly do the interview again and request the same person as you had before and fuck with them.

"Why is this guy going out of his way to interview with us, just to turn us down?"

 

A, I'd worry with b they'd put me on a don't interview him list they share with other companies

 

Yeah, but I'm also not wasting 1/4 tank of gas or waking up super early to go to an 8:30am interview on the other side of town.

I don't think that's actually a thing. If it is, I'm probably already on it judging by my current luck with attaining job interviews.

So, uh, I'm going to Oregon in May. One of my coworkers from Italy is paying for my plane ticket and we're visiting another coworker from Italy for a week. I get to meet my "nephew," too!
