Ive listened to all of these except dirty projectors and real estate

On top of those, ive listened to both Future albums, Sorority noise, conor oberst, los campesinos, FJM, ryan adams, priests, Grandaddy, and Spoon

 

Ryan Adams all the way. Best release of his in a while.

 

ahh those were just my faves. yeah spoon is pretty good, not my favorite from them but they're pretty consistent.

 

Best thing I've heard this year so far is probably DJ Okawari but as you all have seen the list for this year's listens from me is very short

 

It'll be hard for this year in any capacity after the releases we got from bey, thrice, and jew last year. They still dominate my listening.

i like hot thoughts a lot but it doesnt hold up to their last one much at all

 

yup my feelings exactly. it's a fine listen but it doesn't really grab me all that much like their last did.

also the first few seconds of the first track sound exactly like the first few seconds from 'lift me up' by vince staples haha.

 

what is everyone's most anticipated for the rest of the years?

kendrick
lcd soundsystem (hopefully)
phoenix
lana del rey

 

haven't even listened to the new spoon yet. or the new rick ross. heard more life. I didn't really like it

 

yeah there's a few good tracks but i'm pretty much just meh on drake at this point, unfortunately.

 

I HOLD MY BELIEF THAT THA CARTER V IS COMING THIS YEAR

But other than that probably Lana and I'm not sure what else

Kendrick and Sam Hunt are my most anticipated. "Brand New" mention.

The first two Lorde singles are not my thing at all thus far, so I went from hype to hesitant.

 

We might get new Thursday in like November, yeah? That'd be welcomed.

I want to anticipate Kendrick but I don't think it'll be here in time

 

oh wait. isn't there a new circa this year? all of them seem to think it's their best album yet (what band doesn't do this, though)

While I get that, I also think about Kanye's "3 albums in 1 year" claim and Pusha's "King Push in 2016" claim

 

Chance is label-less so I'll trust his claims but with anyone else I won't believe it till it's out

 

i feel u. idk i have i feeling the album is pretty much done. the timing of this leads me to believe he'll have new shit for coachella in a couple weeks. we'll see we'll see.

 

we did get three slightly different versions of tlop

 

I need to listen to the new Japandroids. I don't know any of these other bands y'all mentioned
