Yes! A little on a burger towards the end of its cooking is great too. I think it's in-n-out burger that does that all the time.

Cheaper cuts of meat are actually my favorite to work with! It's what I grew up eating. The expensive stuff is fun, but getting a proper sear with salt, pepper, a little butter, and then whatever else you have.. say garlic, is all I really go to anymore, like Dadbolt said. I hope you don't think I'm some elitist snob. I guess I come off that way sometimes. I'm sorry if I do. Cooking is just one of the few things I'm passionate about and I get carried away with it. Maybe I just read way too into this because I'm stoned haha. I wanted to encourage Derek to get the basics down! It really fills me with joy that he actually listened to me and now loves cooking his steak that way haha. Anyway!
