I forgot he was and thought what a waste of him in this movie.

Surprised by how beautiful/moving/touching I found this and this was, definitely wasn’t expecting to well up a couple of times or cry towards the end. Really enjoyed the score and thought the entire cast was great; kind of blown away by Joseph Quinn. Everything that works about this comes down to Sarnoski, can’t wait to see what he does next — hopefully something original.

Like I said in the horror thread, I liked this. Not SUPER effective for me but good suspenseful moments and story.

    Thank fuck the cat survives

Jazz club scene is one of my favorites of the year

    This was good.

Lately the theater crowds haven't been that great for me. There's usually a handful of people obnoxiously yapping away for most of the movie. Cool thing about seeing this in theaters was the way everyone was silent for the whole movie. Lol.

there was a continuity error with the stool not being in front of the bass drum and then being in front of the bass drum so unfortunately it can’t be one of your favorites of the year, legally.

I was really glad it didn’t undercut it with something like a character knocking over a glass or something. Just let it play out beautifully and moved on to the monster stuff.

My biggest complaint with this movie was the very final shot. Like we know what’s happening, we don’t need that little extra part.

Idk if it’s me being nitpicky but I feel like everyone figured out that they react to sound very quickly. I assumed there would have been a lot more chaos beforehand

    Things have changed.

I figured she would end up back at the jazz club playing the piano at the end, not standing in the middle of the street. My only gripe.

That sounds like a name straight from the imagination of John Krasinski!

Death Angels is the name of the motorcycle club I started after watching sons of anarchy in college.

I also cried multiple times. The first time I got emotional was when Joseph Quinn first made eye contact with the cat. That was so sweet. I did not expect to get to choked up during this. Job well done on all parts. I'm going home now to hug my cats.
