welp just heard back about a job im trying to get and they drug test so i guess tonight's my last night of smoking weed for a while since they drug test

ive still gotta nail the interview(s) but im actually wicked good at interviews so im not nervous! and well i guess i wont have the job for another couple months because its for the casino's free dealer school but they automatically hire you if you complete it

 

but i think i have to drug test before the course starts

 

My boss went for the "smoking etiquette" pitch, so i would love y'alls input on this:
what are your smoking rules?
what are the big no-nos? like double hitting the pipe, getting greens but torching the whole bowl so no one else does, always smoking other people's weed but never throwing down, etc

 

When the pipe or blunt or joint gets passed to you don't wait to take your hit. You know how many people just sit there and talk and talk with the shit in their hands and eventually I've gotta be like "you gonna hit that"? Annoying

 

I second this one but mostly on a sliding scale. if it's strangers I absolutely feel this, if it's friends and we're probably gonna hang for a long while, I don't care so much, especially after the initial bowl or two. the scale doesn't slide if it's a joint or blunt tho, cause that's wasteful

I think I'm flexible on most depending on if it's strangers vs friends and length of time, but torching the bowl so there's no green is fucked no matter who does it and always irritates me

I like smoking ppl out but in general I don't like the vibe of expecting to get smoked out personally

 

I get on my friends about it lol I'm tryna smoke stop holding it up bruhhhh

also, when people take huge rips from a pipe. like they let out a bunch of smoke that they don't inhale and then go for another. i only get on people for things like this if they're a regular smoker. if i'm smoking with someone who only gets down once a month or so, i'm not gonna expect em to know not to torch the bowl or anything.

overall, its not a hard game. puff puff pass.

 

the post i'm writing is for people who are new to weed or hardly ever smoke(d), so that's why i want to put the greens tip in and stuff like that. unspoken (or spoken) stuff that these people wouldnt have a clue about, but at this point we all know

 

Here are a few off the top of my head

Don't invite strangers to someone's house without asking- especially if you're not bringing your own weed. Also If someone is coming over in the middle of a session- make everyone aware in order to avoid panic when there's a knock on the door.

Don't pass an empty bowl. Let the next person know the bowl is getting close to the end if there's not much left.

Don't exhale your smoke at people.

Don't try to "call greens". Any who does that is a bad person.

Don't use another person's lighter to stir the bowl.

 

If you're smoking out of a bong, don't pass it to the person next to you without clearing it. If you couldn't take the whole hit and no one else wants it, just blow through the carb to clear out the old smoke. Nothing worse than taking a bong hit that's half stale old smoke from the last guy's leftover hit.

 

If your guy is cool with selling $10 worth at a time, and there's no price increase, then by all means. A gram would last me like 30 seconds though. Although I know people that make a gram last months, and I have no idea how.

 

But what way do you pass the bong though?

 

If you aren't cornering the bowl and only lighting what you're smoking, I'm gonna be mad at you. I had a former friend who would light up the whole bowl and that cover it with his hand like that would magically put it out or something. Him and his Dad have no idea how to smoke.

Keep the blunt or joint moving at all times.

I would say it's proper etiquette to mix up the rotation each bowl/joint if you are smoking with a large(r) group.

It sucks when you're the like 4th in rotation and get the last shitty hit every single bowl. Green goes to the person who's weed it is, but otherwise mix it up.

I got another drug test so I’m off the ganj for a minute again. It sucks, I feel like I’m never just relaxed. Alcohol just isn’t even the same ballpark. Bleh

and heh yeah a gram would last me a night. usually smoke 2-3 bowls each session. man i should take a tolerance break

 

I only started doing more than one bowl per smoke session with any regularity like within the past three weeks. it's cool cause now I can just be high while also going about my normal business, even if that's not really what happens most of the time


irt etiquette, I think it's polite to ask those around you if you can smoke if it wasn't necessarily a hangout that was definitely gonna involve smoking, esp if it involves strangers. it's not one of those I really care too much about whether or not others do it, just being polite
