I’ve been doing this nightly throughout the holidays...and it’s actually easier than smoking at my tyrannical apartment complex

 

damn, your apartment sounds annoying! usually it's pretty easy for me to be inconspicuous around the fam too... but there are obnoxiously loud xmas sleigh bells on the front door rn that are making it a little difficult

How often do any of you smoke before work? My friend told me yesterday he gets up like two hours before his server shift to smoke and I was in disbelief about it

 

Pretty much never, haha. Used to way more when I was like 20.

 

Essentially never. Except when I worked in a restaurant, there I was stoned all the time. Smoked at work too.

 

Yeah we both work at restaurants but I don't think I'd ever do it tbh. I get so tired after and like I'd rather just chill out than work while high.

 

I love cooking when I'm stoned so it was perfect for me haha

 

Ah, both of us are servers/waiters/whatever the local term is for person who brings your food. No cooking, just walking around

 

I'd probably be super forgetful in that position haha I don't blame you

 

My experience working in a restaurant is that at least 15% of the people on shift are stoned at any given moment. At least 40% when we did banquets.

 

At my current serving job, I only smoke before work if my boss won’t be in, just cuz she’s known me since I was 12

 

My coworkers are surprisingly never stoned at work but I think that's bc a lot of them are in high school and a few of them are just kind of working to fill their days up. The one person who I know was habitually high at work was an addict and she most definitely wasn't on pot and got fired bc her withdrawals kind of interfered w the job.

I worked as a server last summer and I (and many of my coworkers) was always stoned. Granted, I did not enjoy the work and I had other income so I didn’t care if I kept my position. Now I work as a writer so I definitely can’t work while stoned. Clients would end up getting really weird, run-on sentences lol

 

I was always jealous of my roommate whose major was math cause he could smoke and do homework, he said it would take longer to finish but he’d never make mistakes or anything. I could never write a paper while stoned lol

 

i'm waiting for my weed dude to come thru and feeling that same kind of excitement i used to have for santa clause

 

lol. My guy, who grows, ran out r at the end of November and I had been anxiously awaiting him to have some. I really really really wanted see before Christmas so I could smoke up Christmas eve at night and watch movies. Well, every week I'd ask him and it was always "just a couple more days". I had resigned myself to not getting any for Christmas, when I got a text on Christmas Eve morning from him saying "wanna stop over?" I got so excited haha. So yeah, I know the feeling.

 

I've written papers drunk so I feel like maybe I could do it stoned? Never tried though as I like to have fun

 

If I'm well prepared I can write a little stoned but if i have to being doing the research as im writing its impossible

 

One time I studied for a midterm while stoned and actually felt really confident while writing it, buuut then I got a D

 

I program computers stoned every once in a while. Sometimes it helps with problem solving/getting focused, sometimes it just makes me wanna nap.
