what do you have to do to prove residency to get a card? once you get a card, how long before it expires and you have to prove residency again? Is a card good anywhere in the state? also, what're the prices like?

all good! You have to have your name on an OK lease and either an ok ID or a passport. Then once you get it you have it for 2 years and yep it's good anywhere.

Prices here are pretty average street prices honestly. $175-$250 an oz and 20-40 a gram for concentrates with rosin being more like 70-80

I got a nice care package from a friend from a dispensary in MA. The names of some of these strains are ridiculous. I got some Starkiller, Chaos Kush #3, Night Terror, Red Dragon

It all looks amazing. Here in NY, the medical program is not nearly as robust as other states. Mostly just vapes and tinctures and pills. A few places were selling ground flower but apparently are under investigation for doing so and can no longer sell it for the time being so I've mostly been using the vape pens but this is going to be a nice change

Do any of you have a specific lighter that you prefer to use? Looking for a nice sleek lighter. May get a zippo but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions before I pulled the trigger

Those prices sound great, especially for that quality. I'm paying anywhere from $250-300 an ounce and the quality is hit or miss. I'm only an hour from the closest dispensaries, so I'm really trying to figure out some way to get a card up there.

 

I wouldn't buy a zippo for smoking weed, unless you only smoke joints/blunts. You'll be inhaling a bunch of lighter fluid trying to hit a pipe with a zippo.

I honestly prefer just plain ol' Bics or Clippers. I did find some lighters (wish I knew the brand name) that were almost identical to Bics, but you can refill them.

My dumb ass tried to use a torch cigar lighter to smoke a bowl last summer, it did not work and I almost burned the shit out of my hand

 

Anyone ever mix strains in the same bowl. Like half and half? About to try it with some new stuff I've got, dealer said it was "Marmalade" but god knows. Looks real nice though.

Stupid question regarding DaVinci vaporizers/ any vaporizers really - when using one of these vapes, do you have to replace the flower after every individual use or can you take a few inhalations and turn it off and pick it up later?

 

I usually get about 5 cycles per bowl on mine. I'll start at medium heat, give it a couple, then move up heat scales giving it a full cycle per one. That's over the space of a whole night. So I'll give it a puff, leave it an hour or two, have another puff. That sorta thing.

Occasionally I'll pack a bowl, give it a couple of cycles, then put it away till the next night. I usually find I have to pump the heat up a bit and I'll generally get less cycles from it (so maybe only 3 or 4 cycles) but it still gets me just as high the next day.

 

I use an Arizer Solo 2 and don't think too much about it. If the bud is still green, there's more left to vape. With most strains, that usually means 2-3 time-cycle's worth.

 

Anyone else love brushing their teeth when they’re stoned? Lol
