Which one of those is your absolute favorite?

 

Well... That's not an easy question for me haha

Hollywood Handbook is probably the funniest podcast overall but it's notoriously difficult to get new listeners into it.
Doughboys is probably the second best overall but it's more palatable for a wider audience than Hollywood Handbook.

I want really to say Your Kickstarter Sucks is my favorite though because I love those boys and it's not as popular as HH and Doughboys so it could use the support. Plus it's fascinating to discover how many complete and utter scams there are online.

 

Also- not a podcast but The Go Off Kings and No Prank Radio twitch streams have been my latest entertainment obsessions over the last 18 months.

The Go Off Kings are leading the current trend of comedians using twitch for entertainment purposes beyond video games.

No Prank Radio is just a silly call-in show with a very inclusive and interactive fan base that airs Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. It's a great way to waste a couple hours laughing.

 

If your want something funny, listen to Doughboys. Also, come to the comedy/podcast thread.

Can I just jump right into YKS?

 

Yeah, I think so. They do have some occasional reoccurring things but from what I can recall it's nothing too important. If you ever decide to go back and listen from the beginning you should definitely skip episode 1 though. The audio is a disaster lol

 

Theo Von, Chris de’lia, Bryan Callen and Andrew Santino have the most hilarious appearances on that show

 

It looks warm and lovely where you are, and I am stuck in the hellscape northeast winter that is neither actually winter nor nice enough weather to leave the house??? I'm jealous.

 

I like Theo’s podcast as well. Whiskey Ginger is good. The most recent episode was great too. I’m really into background listening so I’ll throw those on when I’m cleaning or whatever.

Oof I’m sorry haha yeah I live in Florida. It was really nice the past few weeks but today it’s hot.

 

He’s the best. I saw one of his shows/met him last January in Jaxonville and can confirm he’s an extremely nice guy. Spent plenty of time hanging with everyone afterwards and taking pics.

 

Theos is one I listen to every episode. Check out the one with jimmy Tatro if you haven’t heard it. Great stuff.

 

I've mentioned this before in the comedy thread but I only know of Theo Vonn (aside from his stint on MTV) because he used to do that shit on twitter where you follow/unfollow/refollow thousands of people at once in hopes of getting a ton of follow backs. I did a twitter audit on his account at the time and it was the most lopsided Real:Fake followers ratio I've ever seen. Like 97% fake. I've heard he has changed a lot since then but I'll never be able to give him, or any of the comedians who I remember seeing try stuff like that, a fair chance.

 

Yeah!!! Pretty big fan, just decided to start from #1 yesterday (I’ve heard plenty of them just not the early stuff), in I think #4 Stav mentions the city/town I live in, lots of local references.

 

I listened to Cumtown in the early days. Some of it is insanely funny but a lot of it is exactly the same dumb stuff that bored little kids do in video game chats but they're passing it off as comedy and getting paid a ton of money for it lol. Also the regressive and ignorant shit they say all the time is obviously a huge turn off. It sucks that Nick doesn't care about being a piece of shit because he's so fucking funny...

That "more like 5am" commercial and everything surrounding it still makes me laugh any time I think of it.

 

It is extremely juvenile. Adam and Dasha got engaged, I’m happy for them.

 

A coworker turned me on to Cum Town super early on (like ep10) and I've been listening ever since and been a Patron since day one.

That being said, all of @yeahrightdude 's criticism is spot on. The show usually makes me laugh but it's not something I could ever recommend to anyone.

 

Have you guys heard the episode where Stav is gone and Nick fills in for him using a Stav soundboard? It's one of the funniest things ever. Wish I could remember which episode it was.

 

Yeah this episode should be in a time capsule. That might be the hardest I've ever laughed at a podcast.

 

I like Jimmy. When he was on Theo’s it was a great episode. Are you saying Jimmy has a podcast too? Or were you talking about him being on This Past Weekend?

 

Haha jimmy is awesome. I don’t think he has his own podcast, but I’m going to look into that now that you mention it. I was just saying I loved that recent episode in particular on This Past Weekend with him on it.

I know he has LifeAccordingToJimmy on YouTube and Simi Valley and American Vandal. All those are great too my buddy used to know him when they went to UF
