This version of canoe slalom is a bit nuts. They basically push you off a big platform and at one point you have to barrel roll under the waves. My worst nightmare.

Rooting for USA's Alise Willoughby. Real heartwarming story. Her husband Sam was the 2012 silver medalist for Australia, he became paralyzed after a training accident in 2016. Alise almost retired from her racing career after that. Now Alise is favored for a medal in the Olympics and her husband is her coach.

 

USA's Kaufhold/Ellison won bronze in the archery mixed team.

Sha'Carri Richardson finished 4th in the first round of the women's 100m with a 10.94. Not her best, but obviously she just needed to qual, she wasn't going to run her best race.

 

So cool that France got Marchand dominating like this at their Olympics
