If they draft JJ McCarthy BECAUSE Tom Brady played for Michigan 25 years ago I will light myself on fire at the zoom in front of my favorite beef joint

 

I think McCarthy has potential and I'm not out on him at all but I will say if that's the REASON the Patriots draft him it'd be so stupid

 

Exactly. Like I know there is a lot of hype around McCarthy and he probably does have traits which COULD translate.

But draft him because of that. Do not draft him because he went to the same school as Tom Brady did 25 years ago AND because he is a "winner." Mac "Winner" Jones worked so well!
