Well that and fans are also far more willing to say “adjust your offense for X player”

Super smart of the Steelers to push for the trade now instead of closer to the draft cause then one of those dumbass teams who missed out on a QB would have paid more

The Bears are huge dumbasses too for accepting that a month and a half before the draft lolol

  11. With fields riding the bench most likely they’ll be able to work out a cheap extension instead of the 5th year option

Kenny Pickett, Sam Howell, and Mac Jones all going for more is absolutely absurd but the NFL is still what it is so.

Payton must’ve seen flashes of RW when watching Fields’s tape.

I'm sure he was just very impressed with Jarrett Stidham.

Idk how to ask this via text without sounding like an asshole so I’m just gonna preface it by saying I’m not trying to argue with you or be a dick.

That being said, at what point do you say “maybe I’m wrong about Fields”? Between the last 3 years of gameplay and the entire NFL saying “meh, he ain’t it” what’s it gonna take?

Tall dude who throws over the middle. Payton’s got a thing for it.

    Also, I would’ve gladly taken Fields for a 6th.

This is what I'm getting at. I was wrong about Fields being good - said that during the season - but there is absolutely zero argument for his value being below guys who are barely rosterable.

Fair enough. That I can agree with.

Justin Fields can be a weapon, which is more than what can be said for a lot of QBs (backups included) in the league

He might not have the processing, but he’s got the arm and he for damn sure has the legs
