Man, this album gonna be on some of y’all’s AOTY lists. Book it lol

 

Think I kinda downplayed my ability to write strong hooks despite the music being so loaded and full of detail. I forget that even though the guitar often does something different on verse 2 / chorus 2 then the first time around they generally do repeat the same chord structure and rhythm/flow, so when the lyrics are in there it does make sense structurally and doesn’t just sound random. I know I’m a good musician but I have major impostor syndrome about my songwriting, gotta trust that the reason we’re doing so well is because we legitimately do both and it’s not either or

 

All that means is that I listened to it. I list everything.

 

Starting to feel more in the swing of things here. At least I don’t want to cut my legs off this time lol
