I think you overestimate how much I want Tom Brady to be the only good QB, and underestimate that I simply watched Gardner Minshew play QB and said "He's not that good" lol

 

If Minshew was the bridge QB this year for the Pats I’d be fine with it.

Him & Brissett feel the same to me talent wise, Minshew prob better a little bit but same tier and caliber. Brissett just made more sense with the staff and ties to literally being a former player for the team

 

Single-handedly got? Hmmm not the words I’d choose at all lmao. Minshew did not play as well as a Colt as he did for the Jags. If anything I’m surprised the Colts roster was good enough to carry him despite hit or miss performance and some wildly off target throws / wacky plays. I did not think the Colts were a competitive roster at the beginning of 2023 but now I’m concerned about how they actually are set up pretty nice to develop AR.

Yeah that was directed more at Brock Purdy. Minshew is not that guy as much as I wanted him to be in 2019 lol

 

Yeah, I'm prepared to take my L on Purdy. It's annoying that I don't think we'll ever see if he can do it without Young Shanny but like...I can't ignore it year after year after year for things he can't control lol.
