to be fair though the twists aren’t really twists. SNAPE WAS A DEATH EATER THE WHOLE TIME… yeah, JK Rowling really didn’t put any effort into character development to make you NOT see him as an evil piece of shit lol. That entire plot point was crudely tied together as “he got bullied by James Potter so now he’s evil” lol
