I don’t even know why I’m arguing this with a bunch of people who don’t participate in DIY music anyway, it’s not like y’all even know. We’re quantifying “successful artist” in different ways. For me any artist who can quit their day job to go on tour is successful. Y’all probably still haven’t heard of a good chunk of the bands and artists I’m talking about
