I am begging the NFL to drop the 2x games vs divisional opponents (or divisions altogether) when they add the 18th game

I don't really care about realignment as much as just changing the name of divisions

I don't like shaking up rivalries because I'm a boomer I guess but yeah we can rename the AFC South we don't have to call it the south

 

Can call it AFC Blue or AFC Warhawk or idk

what’s the point of divisions now? We’re clearly past the point of pretending to care about travel, and it’d be so easy to diversify schedules or have everyone in a conference play everyone without using 6 of the slots on the same 3 teams every year

I know no one likes a 9-8 division winner but with such short seasons I think that guaranteed home playoff game for teams/fans means something

 

If they didnt do division winner, then no one from the NFC South will see the playoffs.
