my experiences in florida have been almost all vacation based but aside from the at times crippling humidity ive always had a nice time

If you ignore all of Florida's politics it's middle of the pack, sure, but you cannot ignore Florida's politics so that makes it bottom 5 quite easily

 

Like I’d rather live IN Dallas or Houston than Tampa or Miami especially with cost factored in. (Maybe if I was RICH Miami would be my favorite of the four but not in any realistic scenario)

but if I can’t live in one of the most progressive and cultured parts of one of those cities and I have to settle for something less cool, I would absolutely just choose to go back home to Jax over any other large Texas town or small Texas city haha

when I last went to florida in november 2018, it was in the 80s on the day we left so I wore shorts and a t-shirt on the plane back

then we got back to oklahoma and it was in the 30s and my dad made fun of me when he picked me up at the airport
