I found out one of my USB-C to USB cables works but my phone keeps acting like there's moisture in it when there isn't so i have to press "emergency override"

and I found out my bluetooth charger works if plugged into my literal laptop cable which is also a USB-C i just discovered but I can't just carry my laptop cable everywhere just to charge my phone. ughhh.

"time for a new phone randall" yes but I'm trying to get a car first before I pay off Verizon

 

trying to fuckin juggle every other fuckin thing that breaks when you're saving money for one thing is really fucking hard. I need new clothes and new shoes, and a new phone with new APPLE chargers, and a new bed with new bedsheets and new blankets, and a new backpack and a new guitar-backpack, and a new car and a new bike, and a new credit card and a new driver's license, and a new vacuum cleaner, and new cookware and new tupperware and a new water filter... I need a new fucking everything. Quite literally need to replace all of that and that's still probably not the whole list. How about a new fuckin life at this point.

I need so much new shit that the word "new" doesn't even feel real anymore after typing it that many times.

I had an issue with my charger port and I took it to Verizon and there was just a giant thing of dust in there, hopefully it’s just something like that so it’s an easy fix.

i’m also having an issue with the charging port but i think im eligible to upgrade in two weeks. its only an issue for carplay though bc i have a magsafe charger

 

yeah i pretty much only use a magsafe or wireless charger at home or at work, only time im really plugging my phone in is carplay

 

kelsey's 2024 car has wireless carplay and it's got a serious lag issue when skipping songs, super annoying

 

yeah the car we rented in florida in august had wireless carplay and had the same issue with music and also maps, like it would give the directional dictation at the LAST SECOND lol

 

we also have both of our phones paired to it but it's set to connect to hers first

if I connect mine and then she plugs in her phone to charge it freaks out and is like "oh so you want to switch phones right? right?"
