I’m going to an early showing of Sonic 3 after work today. @spiffa0 ill report in from the theater.

 

ok first intense interview of the week done. felt like it went well and there were no annoying gotcha questions and the hiring manager was pretty chill and liked my experience and knowledge. Helped I could point to having interviewed their new head of security before (she wasn't in that role when I spoke to her for my current job), which shows i can talk with subject matter experts in his eyes.

So, crossing my fingers I'll get to move forward. Won't find out until after the holidays since they couldn't get all of the ones at this level done before. Also, he mentioned it shortened the interview process. it'd just be two more and they'd be with the two directors of two teams i'd work heavily alongside, so they make sense.

Tomorrow now to prep for.

 

In the sun it felt very much like 57, so I won't be eating anything other than the pumpkin cookie I still have on my plate

This one is from one of the true bakers in the office, so I know it's good.

But if I'm really being honest, both my wife and I are better bakers than this entire office, so everything is second rate here

it makes sense that its the 2nd one. they always want patty to be the sheriff but his style of play thats worked so well the last 2-3 years just isnt adaptable with the guys they have now, except kelce, who gets older every game, and it easily covered.

maybe we can blame Matt Nagy

the fumblerooski commercial makes me physically cringe

 

a KC podcast guy I follow also floated the idea of "if mahomes it out, just rest everyone" which would be good IMO

having such an early bye has been terrible
