So some Neo Nazis hijacked a punk show in Atlanta, called black band members racial slurs, started a brawl and even broke a pool cue over a woman’s head

Pissed as hell just thinking about it. And I’m saying, if white nationalists wanna grab pool cues and attack women, I got no problem grabbing pint glasses and fighting dirty the fuck back.

Imo any white nationalist violence needs to be met with immediate, unified force from the opposition (strength & anonymity in numbers, if one guy fights back he’ll get singled out) and then get out of there before cops arrive / get a good lawyer afterward. A response of fear and trying to keep the peace will only embolden them. people need to show them they are outnumbered, and they can’t fucking intimidate us if we are united, and that they WILL get sent to the hospital if they try that shit. That is the one context where I think vigilante justice & don’t get caught is the best solution. The system will not protect us, we saw on Jan 6 and during BLM that most cops are sympathetic to Neo Nazis.

 

Oh and by the way the woman who got hit with a pool cue was white and generally uninvolved, just in a bad place at a bad time. Not saying people all assume this, but don’t think for a second that you’re exempt because you’re white. When the shit hits the fan it will be your problem too and POC like me are desperately hoping you have the courage and moral conviction to stand with us rather than try to stand on the sidelines. I know if I get in a situation like that, I’m fuckin fighting, and I will probably get seriously hurt and/or sent to jail if my friends don’t have my back.
