Interstellar was a cool overall story/concept but the entire thing felt rushed and McConaughey made it feel cheesy.

 

That would certainly be his one way ticket to being fired. And he hates Doug too so I doubt he is going to do that lol.

I get your points and I’m sure something is up. Perhaps the injury is worse than it was initially believed to be. I just think it’s a dangerous game for Trevor to play if even part of his reasoning is “I no longer want to play for Doug.”

He just became one of the highest-paid players in the league and is expected to be the leader of that locker room. He gives them the best chance to win and the players the best chance to look/play better. I should not have suggested Trevor is “feigning injury,” but if he’s choosing not to play when he can (his choice, I support player safety, cash those checks baby) while other players on the roster are playing for a coach they don’t like for the sake of their own future contracts, I can’t imagine that would go over well in the locker room.

 

I hope I’m conveying my point well enough. Obviously, if Trevor is too hurt to play, that’s one thing, but if it’s “Hey, I’m hurt, but fuck Doug lol”, that’s a whole other thing. I get if he doesn’t want to risk further injury for a guy who stinks, but he’d essentially be quitting on the team at that point when his teammates are also battling through their own shit for a coach they probably don’t like either

That’s all I’m saying.
