i flew southwest for the first time in a while last week and god dammit does that airline fucking suck lol

 

Tbh I sleep fine on airplanes I don’t know what it is

wouldn’t call them comfortable but I was shocked how much worse Amtrak is

at least planes turn off the goddamn aisle lights for night flights and at least those seats are padded with more than just the leather cover

 

Don't worry I won't do that, if I wanted to annoy Randall I'd just call him Ryan

I refuse to fly on Southwest

 

The train also shook horribly on the way back up, I think cause we had 3 delays (someone had a seizure in Savannah) and the conductor went the max allowable speed trying to make up time but man was it an uncomfortable, bumpy ride

 

its just so difficult not to when the airport is 8 minutes from my home and they fly direct to florida. any other state i go to im going to JFK and flying another airline.

 

I like southwest why do y’all hate southwest

in my experience every airline is shitty and that one is slightly less shitty lol

 

OH and motherfucking TSA FINALLY approved by pre check renewal on sunday afternoon so i could avoid all the commoners Monday morning going through security. #blessings

 

Yeah I just always fly from DFW International so I take whatever works from there (and Southwest doesn't go there which is a big part of not doing it)

all airlines are just different degrees of bad. i've had poor experiences on mostly all of them, but i am always most comfortable on jetblue and delta. southwest is just spirit for people that can afford to spend $75 more for their trip. a free checked bag is really the only perk of flying southwest.

 

All I hear is that JetBlue is the best airline

It's just never convenient for me to do sadly

most comfortable ive ever been on a flight was jetblue from JFK to Seattle. paid for the next class up and felt like i was sitting in a recliner in the sky. pleasant AF.

and they had like a 'serve yourself' pantry. as long as you didnt want booze you could get up and go get snacks and drinks as you pleased. didnt have to wait for anyone to roll a cart down the aisle.

 

I think it'd be fun if there was a New Orleans airline that did a crawfish boil and they brought the cart down and just dumped a boil on your tray table

I do think based on my train experiences in life it'd be easier for me to sleep on a plane than on a train

 

My best “flight experience” was flying back from Utah from a work trip at like 8 pm and there was barely anyone on it.

I had the entire row in front of me, behind, and across to myself and I read a fun little book about Traveling Vampires
