Great album

 

I'm pretty down the middle in preference. The only amp I've got around right now (doesn't get much use because I don't need volume) is a Crate Vintage Club 50 and it pairs NICELY with the Telecaster with the grease buckets and some basic pedals. Now if I want to play around I'll just plug into an interface and fuck around in logic with plug ins and fake drummers.

 

Jazzmasters and Rickenbackers, but using a lot of neck and middle pickup rather than bridge pickup

Any amp with a lot of headroom but that has a lot of gain potential would work, I’d say maybe a Fender Deluxe over a Vox AC30 because they do like dirty distortion at times

 

What I'm hearing is Jazzmasters are the GOAT

 

Thinking about impulse buying a guitar but my mind is also going to "how fucked up is it that you feel the need to consume to get over feeling depressed" and yeah I dunno

 

They’re a very well balanced guitar yes
I feel the Tele has more versatility and a stronger character but sometimes you want a darker tone than a Tele while still being twangy and having crisp definition

 

Yeah the Telecaster is the perfect guitar

 

Solution - buy me a guitar. You satisfy the impulse but don't actually consume anything!

 

neck on a ricky and middle on a jazzmaster. using middle position on a rick should get you locked up without parole.

 

After playing a Mustang for a while I do feel like it's a guitar specifically made for me but I think it's the Tele then the Les Paul then the Rickenbacker then everything else

 

Like I faintly understand these are guitar brands or style because my dad prob has one of each mentioned in here but beyond that’s it’s gibberish to me lol
