Alvin Kamara looked longingly across the field as the play clock approached zero. Another day. Another snap. He knew he would have to rely on the prowess of Spencer Rattler, but he couldn't help noticing Derek Carr looking directly at his eyes, his eyeliner clear as day piercing through the New Orleans stadium. The connections we make are often destined to fade, but Alvin did not like this as an answer. Zero. Delay of game. Spencer gathered the team to state his problems, but Alvin was not interested. He missed Derek, everyone knew this, but he had to let it go. This was gameday.

The team lined up again, and this time Alvin knew what he had to do.

"HIKE!" Spencer shouted as the linemen snapped into action. Alvin ran towards Derek, almost instinctively, and as destiny would have it, this formed somewhat of a wheel route. Spencer hurled the ball to Alvin at a whopping 3 miles per hour and Alvin caught it as naturally as a fireman catching a baby from a burning building. The crowd around Alvin roared and his vision grew dim. All he could see were Derek's eyes, Derek's warm eyes, staring at him as he ran towards the endzone. "Go, go, go," Alvin told himself.

He heard the whistle and saw the ref raise his arms for a touchdown and the team rushed Alvin to celebrate. The Saints got the win they had been longing for, but Alvin knew who deserved the game ball. He sifted through the warm bodies until he found Derek, and time stopped as they embraced, knowing that no matter who was behind center, they had each other. Their lips met in ecstasy and the crowd gasped and then erupted in more cheers for their new champions of the regular season game. The 3-8 Saints, satisfied, headed towards the locker room, Alvin and Derek the last to leave, hand in hand.

I just got back into bed so I will not be providing in depth details so my numbers might not be too accurate lol

Basically what you say is true about the league but there are 200+ teams in college instead of 32 so if that player is inefficient despite getting opportunities, it's typically a red flag. ~2 yards per route run is seen as the benchmark. Very very few success stories once you get under like 1.9 or so. A high Y/RR doesn't necessarily mean you're good though. Think of it like the combine. You run a 4.3 or a 4.4 as a WR, it doesn't make one bit of difference. But if you run a 4.6+, you're either a HoF level route runner or you're toast. The worst route runner in the league with a 4.6+ 40 is like, Cooper Kupp. So it's more about finding red flags than being like "oh this guy is good!"

 

But I want to use my math and pattern skills for fun, not for evil :(

 

If I’m really that talented at it I’d rather use it to figure out how to game the algorithm and the music industry to make Terrain popular lmao
