No! Don't change the bye goes to conf champ system! If you do that then really, just forget the conference championship games. I mean look at the bracket, Texas still has an easy path. They're not penalized that much....they get clesmon and arizona st as a penalty for not winning their conf champ game.

Yeah that point doesn’t really make sense when Bama played South Florida, Wisconsin, Western Kentucky and Mercer in non conference. Not like they scheduled a great non conference schedule.

Discounting losses to Vandy and Oklahoma because they played a tough schedule before those teams is incredibly stupid. Maybe don’t lose to the worst teams on your schedule.
